HBDI Assessment

You probably already know something about left brain and right brain. But there are ways to go beyond that to measure and identify distinct thinking styles and see your quantified preferences for each one.

When you know how you prefer to think, ( and preference is different than competence, because you may be competent in several) you can build upon the strengths of your preferred styles and even advance in your less preferred ones. Your individual performance can improve as well as your ability to work well with others. You accomplish this with an assessment tool called the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI)

The HBDI is valuable for both individuals and teams. You can find out much more about it in the HBDI Package. Assessment can be a stand alone process or combined with training and team building. The team profle reveals at a glance whether the team has a variety of thinking styles at the table or whether the great minds present think alike, – not always an advantage in a world that values mental diversity, but you will learn to value and use all the talent in the room to full advantage.

You can have a look here at the HBDI Profile

If you already have some familiarity with the HBDI you might find the HBDI Walkaround a useful tool
